International Mentor Program
When you are starting a company, it can seem quite daunting at first. Establishing relationships with the right people, who can show you the ropes, can be just what an entrepreneur needs to take his/her idea to the next level. The Bootup Mentor Program was created to provide early stage entrepreneurs in our technology community with access to experienced industry mentors, who have invested in, started or partnered with digital media companies. We bring the most experienced, highly reputable and well-known mentors to our province on a regular basis to educate startup founders, inspire more innovation and raise awareness of our entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Launch Party
A lively mixer for the entrepreneurs, techies and marketers responsible for making Vancouver the place to launch your startup. Happening approximately once per quarter, this event has grown to an attendance of almost 400 people across technology, marketing, and finance. Six to eight startups can apply to launch their new product or service at the event, as well as submitting a video pitch to be reviewed by an all star cast of judges. A judges pick and people’s choice award winner is awarded at the end of the evening. Everyone involved gets to find out about the great startups coming out of Vancouver, as well as making connections and networking. Find out more on the Launch Party website »
