Beers with Brad Feld (April 22, 2009)

Brad Feld is coming to town and we are having an entrepreneur party. If you don’t know of Brad, he writes the popular blog Feld Thoughts and is a managing director at Foundry Group. Brad is also a co-founder of TechStars, a startup accelerator program based in Boulder, Colorado.
Brad is going to spend the evening talking about his views on entrepreneurship, especially around early stage companies in today’s environment. He’ll give us a detailed view of TechStars and why it’s been working, along with an explanation about how he thinks about early stage VC investing. The evening with be heavily Q&A oriented – Brad’s open to any questions about anything. Feel free to start posting questions in the comments on the Bootup Labs blog to get the ball rolling.
We’ll be providing your first drink and some light refreshments. The first 50 tickets are free, so register now.
This is the first event in the Bootup Labs Entrepreneur Society’s series of International Mentor Program (IMP) series of events. We will be hosting a number of entrepreneurial mentors from the digital media industry.
